Nicki Minaj's wax figure is reportedly being removed from Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas. The statue's creators modeled the figure of the rapper, which was unveiled on Aug. 4, after a look from her "Anaconda" music video. The figure sparked much controversy and, after being violated on several occasions by museumgoers, it appears Madame Tussauds has decided to take action.
Saint Heron reported on Tuesday that the figure will be removed from the museum. The site claims that prior to having the statue uninstalled, Madam Tussauds attempted to step up security, ensuring visitors could not come in contact with their creation. It appears, however, that it wasn't enough. They have since decided to take "immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area and that the set around this particular figure is redesigned so that a picture like this cannot be taken again."
